Mens Skin Care Tips For Travel

Posted on Sunday, February 11, 2018

Traveling can be hard enough on you and your skin without having to worry about bringing the right skin care products along. Let me ease your mind: You don't have to bring EVERYTHING with you. Just a few of your "key" essentials so here's what I've found works for me:

  • Have a travel kit packed with your basic stuff  and stored away at all times. This should include things like toothpaste, toothbrush, nail clipper, etc. Note that I am suggesting that you have "doubles" of the key things  you use on a daily basis at home. This lessens the risk of forgetting something and saves time. Having this "kit" ready at a moment's notice will make your "travel life" that much easier.
  • Now ... what to bring in terms of skin care? Here's my philosophy: Chances are that you aren't going to be a way for months so why bring everything you use every day at home? A few days off from most grooming products won't generally  effect the long term health of your skin. In essence ... narrow down what you need. For example when I travel, I don't bring my Matte For Men 6.5 oz Daily Antioxidant Face Cleanser ... instead I bring a package of our Complete Cleansing Cloths which make facial cleansing so much simpler and easier. I also throw in a tube of Matte For Men Antioxidant Shave Gel, a lip balm, and travel sizes of both Man Powder and our Complete Face Care Lotion. That's it...I'm good to go and my skin care needs are covered.
  • OK...OK... for the sake of "full disclosure"...Matte For Men doesn't offer travel sizes of the lotion and Man Powder so how do I bring them along??? Simple ... I just pour some of the lotion into a small travel "squeeze bottle" and place some Man Powder in a smaller "shaker" so that they are more compact and easier to bring along. This step requires a little work ... but my skin is worth it (isn't yours?).

That's it in a nutshell. By following these steps, you'll have everything you need to take care of your skin "on the road".
