Our Company was founded in 2004 by its current President, Lee Jacobs. With over 20 years in the health and beauty care industry, Lee has been associated with many successful consumer product companies, and has shaved his head for the past 10 years.

The seed was planted for the launch of Lescoja when Lee began looking for a skin care product for his own use that would protect and care for his entire face, scalp, forehead, neck, and ears. What he found was that in order to address all of his needs, it was necessary to purchase multiple products. After trying almost all of them, he found that they were either too sticky, didn't provide enough protection, or basically did not work very well. He noticed that there were few, if any, products designed to meet the needs of a man that shaves his head or needs extra scalp protection. Most of the products for sale are made by companies whose primary focus is not men's skin care.

There is a happy ending to the search for products that could address the needs of men that shave their head or just need extra scalp protection...Lee developed a product line that men could use every day to help protect and enhance their look...Matte For Men™.

In essence, the goal of Lescoja is to develop and deliver high quality products for men that address their unique needs in a simple, effective, concise manner.
