Why our Complete Face and Head Care Lotion is temporarily out of stock

You may have noticed that we are out of stock on our Complete Face and Head Care Lotion. We wanted to let you know why this happened and what we are doing about it:

Why it happened: As many of you know, our formula is quite unique. It is the only men's product that combines superior moisturization, UV protection, and a reduction in skin shine in a non-sticky lotion. It simply is not an easy product to produce correctly and relies on a precise combination of special ingredients. One of the key ingredients is produced in Europe and is currently on "back-order"... meaning that they don't have any to ship us today.

Our options: We can either replace this crucial ingredient with another, less effective one and, more than likely, change the product's esthetics or simply wait until this key ingredient is available. We've chosen to wait until it is available to us. Here's the reason: This formula took us over two years to perfect and we think that is why so many men have made it part of their daily routine. We have built the Matte For Men brand on a simple premise ... that we only offer the most effective and simple to use men's products on the market. We are not changing this now ... even if it means we won't have any of this product for a short time.

What we are doing: Working with the supplier to make sure that once this ingredient is ready, we get it here immediately so we can begin producing our Complete Face and Head Care Lotion again. We have been told that it may take between 12 to 16 weeks before it will arrive.

What we want to say: That we are sorry. We apologize profusely. There was no way to see this supply issue coming but it doesn't change the fact that we cant currently supply you with one of our products that you've allowed to become an important part of your skin care regiment. I hope that you will understand this temporary situation as we refuse to substitute an inferior ingredient in our lotion just to sell some product ... like so many other brands do. Believe us when we tell you that no one is more disappointed by this then us and we will do all that we can to make sure that this delay in availability is as short as possible.

What happens next: As soon as we have more of our lotion in stock, we will let you know (please add your email address to our mailing list if you haven't done so already so we can contact you immediately when it is ready to ship).
